Formula for Future Forward Marketing

Enjoying the sunny autumn vibes in Lisbon becomes an even more exciting experience by attending on Web Summit with Women in Tech. This year’s AI dominated various sessions and start-up pitches, sparking discussions on how businesses can utilize its power to drive solutions and innovation. In this blog post, I will summarize my key takeaways and as a follow-up to my last newsletter, describe my theory about the formula of future success.

My Formula for Future Success:

(Data + (Prediction + Trust)) * AI^Security = Solutions

1.)    Data – the Foundation:

At the heart of every successful business strategy is high-quality data. The process begins with the collection from diverse sources, coupled with cleaning procedures. An emerging trend involves anonymizing and aggregating data, a practice that was showcased during the “Dubai’s Metaverse Strategy” Masterclass. Here, the public sector showcased the transformative power of leveraging digital data for transparent governance, real-time problem-solving, and evidence-based policy decisions. When I visited my fantastic colleagues in Dubai, also realized the city’s seamless integration of apps into daily life, and the effectiveness of a multi-channel approach in ensuring people’s satisfaction.

2.)    (Prediction + Trust) – Guiding Marketing Efforts:

Quality data sets the stage for generating valuable insights into marketing efforts. By employing AI and statistical models, businesses can make predictions. However, the success of this step hinges on the crucial factors of trust – both in the data and in oneself. Much like in “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade – Only in the leap from the lion’s head will be prove his worth.” Belief in the data and self-confidence are prerequisites for defining meaningful KPIs and charting a course for future business success.

3.)    AI^Security – Multiplying the Impact:

AI is not a standalone solution but a feature that enhances and optimizes existing processes. While AI has been around for some time, its recent surge has generated global discussions on regulation and security. The equation underscores the critical role of security in maximizing the impact of AI. If security is robust (1), it multiplies AI’s effect; however, if it is lacking or absent (0), the entire formula becomes null. The ongoing discourse, such as the Bletchley Summit, reflects the global commitment to establishing frameworks that ensure the responsible and secure deployment of AI technologies.
