How to generate leads and close deals on LinkedIn?

I had the privilege to present some of my social media – lead generation insights during the Martecopia London conference, which was organized by B2B Marketing Net.

Was great to see that this topic is still relevant, raised attention, and generated discussions among the marketing leaders.

Why do I think LinkedIn the best quality data has?

⚜️         More than 1 billion registered users worldwide.

⚜️          61 million users search for jobs weekly. They update their profile with relevant information by themselves. No further qualification or data clearing is needed.

⚜️          11 million users set creator mode – Only a few users generate content by themselves. This is a big potential in my eyes for marketing teams.

⚜️          80% or even 99% of B2B marketers use LinkedIn Ads during their campaigns. If everyone uses it, then it is a threat for me. How can I shine if everyone uses it?

⚜️       40% of users organically engage with LinkedIn pages. Users are eager for up-to-date information. Give them what they want by generating meaningful content.

How shall we find the right decision-makers then?

As you see the quality and quantity of LinkedIn data is amazing. However, identifying the relevant decision-makers takes time and patience. LinkedIn is like Business Tinder. No one wants to jump on the other one at the first date, but getting to know each other and see if the relationship will bring something meaningful. Before you start hunting for new contacts, not forget to update your profile with relevant information. Your profile is like your shop window.

Let’s be #zSofisticated and start with the following:

⚜️         Use LinkedIn’s advanced search filter or even better use Sales Navigator

⚜️          Check your 2nd Level connections – someone can introduce you to that user. A personal reference always counts more than a simple cold connection request.

⚜️        Check your content engagement – how have liked – loved – shared your content?

Nurturing leads on LinkedIn:

When you formulate your very first connection request, keep in mind that it is the first step to earn the trust to start a conversation. Provide value and position yourself as a reliable, trustful go-to person.

Content generation:

Please forget Automation! It simply kills the magic and makes your message too generic. As I mentioned above, generating meaningful content has a huge potential. Showcase your knowledge and the end-to-end solution that You can provide.

⚜️        Leverage testimonials and proof of concepts

⚜️         Personalize and be relevant in your communications

⚜️        Use targeted ads or generate back traffic to you with the help of retargeting tactics

⚜️         Use Sales Navigator and CRM integration to get more insight into your prospects

⚜️          Use your Profile and page data to engage users

⚜️         Check your LinkedIn Newsletter subscriptions and LinkedIn attendees. You see exactly the profiles

I know it is not easy to integrate into your daily working life but believe in me you can generate not only small- and one-time deals but you can establish a fantastic network and meaningful business relationships.
